RED DAY 2020

Each year on the second Thursday of May, KW offices all around the globe celebrate RED Day as part of our legacy worth leaving. Offices are CLOSED and associates take part in a full day of giving back to their local communities. This year, instead of one or two large projects, like over 100 associates collecting, cleaning and delivering furniture for Furniture Friends in Portland, KWMaine associates took to their own neighborhoods, with social distancing in place. They cleaned beaches, neighbors' yards, and public ways. They cooked dozens of cookies and pans of lasagne to feed the elderly and at-risk shut-ins. They Split up over $7,000 dollars from an online company auction and disbursed the proceeds to local food pantries, and homeless shelters. They planted gardens at Grow to Give, and donated food, clothing and other items of necessity. And they did this all on their own time, with open hearts and smiles on their masked faces.
